Ok so when I got my jdm swap done on my tt the shop said that the pre-cats coming off the turbos were a little different than the ones on the previous engine, long story short they eleminated all of my cats so that it is just straight pipe all the way and not only that, they used 2 1/4 inch pipe. which is way too small. so I found a guy that specializes in z cars and he said I need those precats to create the back pressure I need to spool right. He says I could be losing about 50 horsepower because of this. thing is those pre-cats were pretty much shot, what can I do to get this exhaust back to how it should be without goin over the top money wise....??
